It is late June in Iowa, and it is hot. Early this morning I returned from a walk around the lake and stopped by the grocery store before heading home. I'd enjoyed the warm morning breeze and was thinking how lucky I was - when I was confronted with an unhappy clerk who had an endless list of all the reasons she despised the weather and planned to have an awful day enduring the heat.
Well, it IS getting warm....but I am still enjoying the day, and hope the clerk has changed her mind. Like Jen, 'the flower girl', says "it's all about your attitude".
